So the night finally came for Rollapaluza to take its place on the Coast stage on last Saturdays very rainy night! We had 40 local competitors (boys and girls, young and old) sign up for their chance to race head to head over 500m for a chance to win some great sponsored prizes from Foffa Bikes, Z-Flex, Adroit, H20 Sport, Coast and Fit2You. We also had a great crowd show their support and cheer on their teams and racers!

Mens 1st place went Lewis Lacy setting the fastest time of 21.61 secs, 2nd place – James Horton, 3rd place – Dominic Meacher and 4th place – Greg Barden.

For the Women’s, 1st place went to Lora White with a time of 26.98 secs, 2nd place – our very own Lana Culley, 3rd place – Lorena Jones and 4th went to Emma Needham.
The event was a great success and we are looking into dates for early 2013 to host the next Rollapluza!
